My client, an outstanding global pharmaceutical organisation based in Hertfordshire is looking for a European Talent Manager to join their organisation. This is a new position and has arisen as a result of a strategic re-organisation of the HR function and a need to develop and enhance Human Resources capabilities at a European level.
The European Talent Manager will provide EU strategic and operational leadership that meets the needs of the European business.
This position will work closely with the European Human Resources Director in defining the European Talent Management Strategy. You will be responsible for leading and supporting Country Managers, Country HR Directors and UK HR Business Partners with the implementation and roll out of programs, policies and procedures to maximise the attraction, development, motivation, retention and effective utilisation of employees who are responsible for meeting the short and long range goals of the company.
Whilst based in the UK, the role will require considerable travel and the European HR Policy & Systems Manager should expect a minimum of 2 days per week travelling and working in other European offices.
