Executive Advisor - Desktop Infrastructure

This is a rare opportunity for a Platform Storage expert to join one of the "Big Four" consultancies. The role joins an existing team, focused purely on financial services clients (you should have previous experience working within retail/investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds or other financial services organisations).

Excellent customer/client facing skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels. You should have strong technical knowledge, coupled with solid business acumen. You should also have an understanding of IT Architecture / Solutions and be able to advise clients in terms IT and strategy.

Key Technical Skills:
- Desktop environments
- OS (Windows / Unix / Linux) & Hardware
- Mobile OS and devices (PDA / Smartphone / Blackberry)
- Proprietary and open source applications (Mail / Messaging / Word Processing, etc.)
- Thin Client and PC Virtualisation technology
- File and print environments (Netware, etc.)
- Desktop security (ID & Access / VPN, encryption, anti-virus, personal firewalls)
- Software distribution
