Rate: £80K to £120K (Permanent) + Uncapped bonus + benefits

The purpose of the role is to:

Lead and deliver consulting assignments to the financial services community, primarily the retail banking sector.

Identify and develop business opportunities from concept through to contractual close.

The individual will be jointly accountable for the development and growth of the Financial Services practice with specific focus on the retail banking sector. The ideal candidate will have worked within the retail banking sector and / or as a senior consultant developing, selling and delivering project and programme solutions to their clients. They will have a background in both business development and delivery, with the ability to work seamlessly between the two. They will have the credibility and gravitas to work with clients at the highest of levels, whilst also developing new relationships using the companies outstanding brand and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the different solutions that are often required within the retail financial services arena. This could range from product segmentation through to new technologies for internet banking.

Skills and Experience

Debit and Credit card experience at P&L level.
Strong understanding of how payment systems and particularly money transmission work.
Experience of product development within retail banking.
Strong influencing skills.
Product management skills.
Project management skills.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Team player.
Self starter.
Highly motivated and results driven.
Able to travel at short notice.
