We are now seeking an outstanding individual to lead their initiative in the IT & Telecoms Sector. This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right experience and credibility to deliver the University's strategic ambitions.
Drawing on your significant educational or commercial experience you will have both the vision and the leadership capability to shape and lead the future of the University's engagement with the IT and Telecoms sector and to drive and achieve targets for the sector team and wider university community.
You will work across the university to ensure support and alignment of multiple stakeholders and will be experienced in high level business development and of engaging and developing senior and high value commercial relationships with international organisations.
You will develop and champion our propositions to employers in the IT and Telecom sector, and will be accountable for implementing the strategy against defined performance targets. You will promote the University's mission and abilities within the sector, and to government, funding councils and intermediary organisations.
As a senior executive you will be educated to degree level and have an MBA or equivalent management qualification, you will have a background and credibility from within the technology consulting, IT or Telecoms sector and will have strong commercial management experience and will be used to working to performance targets. You will have excellent political, networking and influencing skills to work across a highly complex University and will be expert in managing change and building and leading a commercial enterprise.
