Finance & Commercial manager

A driven and qualified accountant with strong business acumen and commerciality is required to join this prestigious employer.

Reporting jointly into the CFO and the Alliance Manager, you will be the senior finance representative within a three party Alliance/Joint Venture, servicing a £70 million pound per annum ongoing project.

Providing a professional, proactive, financial and commercial service to the Alliance and parent company, you will place particular emphasis on financial monitoring and control within a capex / opex environment. Managing the Alliance financial and commercial team of some 30 staff incorporating management accounting, procurement and project costing, you will also have the responsibility for budget setting, forecasting, reporting and management of the target costing process.

You will be a qualified accountant with relevant experience from within a utilities joint venture or an alliance type environment. With a high intellectual capacity, strong business acumen and experience of using target cost methods. You will have the gravitas to communicate, negotiate and influence at board level.
