Finance Director

This role is key to the business, bringing accounting expertise to the Board across all areas of the financial arena, with the ultimate goal: profit maximisation.

Alongside board level interaction, you will be required to liaise internally with all parts of the business and the respective heads of department to assist with planning and managing budgets. You will also have significant client contact and will be responsible for managing the contract negotiation process and have significant involvement with potential acquisitions to increase the group's portfolio.

To be successful in securing this exciting position which forms part of the Senior Management Team, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) and will have significant experience of working at board and FD level.

A strong commercial acumen is of paramount importance as is experience of working within an entrepreneurial SME with substantial growth plans . You will also have proven ability to make sound business decisions with regards to investment planning and be able to demonstrate a track record in complex contract negotiations.

Finally, you will need a strong base in all aspects of technical accounting including up-to-date working knowledge of taxation, and a good understanding of legal contracts and their respective clauses.
