Finance Director
Essex - East Anglia
Our client, a global financial services business is seeking a diligent, commercial and technically strong Finance Director to join their ever expanding organisation. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a commercial mindset.
Responsibilities include:
* Finance partner to the GM ensuring strong support & financial control and integrity in all reporting, planning and decision making.
* Manage and lead the Finance Function for CMS covering all submissions, planning & reporting to internal and external parties.
* Identification and delivery of Revenue Enhancement initiatives (REI's). Establish a culture of commercial business & P&L management in the team.
* Review and control of all Charges to and from the business.
* Critical review of all external factors on the P&L including Interchange, Scheme Fees, regulatory and environmental pressures etc - ensuring all management are aware of P&L and commercial impact.
* Advise on and develop reporting for business analysis. - Recommend a variety of regular and ad hoc reports for review with Exec.
The successful candidate will possess these attributes:
* Qualified Accountant with extensive post qualified experience
* Very strong Commercial Acumen & Financial control
* Exemplary management & leadership skills
* Familiar with the reporting framework of a large multi-faceted organisation.
* Demonstrated desire to be an influential player and key decision maker within a growing business.
* Level-headed, rational approach in order to maintain a strong level of commercial control for a large portfolio.
