Our client is a pillar of the British banking community.
A challenging and varied role has become available to manage a small financial reporting team, offering exposure across the company. Key duties will include financial reporting and control, performing key month end control processes, driving ongoing process improvement, acting as the main point of contact for all internal stakeholders on the cash management system as well as managing and motivating a team of 3.
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong technical background and first rate interpersonal / stakeholder management skills. You will have prior experience of leading teams of accountants. Experience of the banking sector - either directly or via external audit will be highly regarded.
