Financial Accountant

Our client is a world wide market leader within the healthcare market. A challenging and exciting position for a Financial Accountant is now available. Reporting direct to the Finance Director, the successful individual will be commercially focused and gained extensive financial accounting knowledge and experience. A strong team management background is essential in order to maximise the full potential of the role.

Excellent communication and presentation skills is required, coupled with high levels of excel and sage knowledge which will be an advantage. SOX and GAAP experience is essential.

Some key responsibilities include.

* Accounts payable - invoices, payments, statements, new suppliers.

* Credit control - interface with general ledger, month end close.

* Month end - including reviewing journals, posting journals and utilities accrual.

* Working capital management

* Variance analysis
