Financial Controller
London - Home Based
Our client is a private equity firm with a number of portfolio companies. It is currently looking for a qualified and experienced accountant to manage the complete finance function of a private members club and restaurant that it owns.
·Providing monthly management accounts, including forecasting and budgeting, as well as dealing with the fixed asset register;
·Producing the statutory accounts and audit pack;
·Dealing with loans, prepayments, and accruals;
·Preparation and forecasting of company cash flow;
·Preparation of reports and monitoring of performance against budget;
·Management analysis on all variable costs to the business, and all banking responsibilities;
·Inputting and payment of invoices, as well as bank reconciliations;
·Dealing with supplier queries and other ad hoc duties.
You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification – ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA – and have a solid background, with key experience gained in a similar finance role. Experience of the fixed asset register and of gross profit margins is essential, as are good communication skills, strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
