Financial Controller

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role will be responsible for the management and performance reporting for the Group.

The position is responsible for providing commentary and analysis of the business' performance on a monthly basis to the Group FD and the Board. This will require close liaison with the business teams in each directorate on a regular basis. It will entail close examination of the business' system information, formulating reports, making enquiries and generally building a sound understanding of the drivers and dynamics of each area of the business.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with excellent management accounting experience, together with a good degree. Ideally you will have experience in a growing, performance orientated manufacturing industry.

You will also want to work for a company that will allow you the ability to get close to the business. In order to succeed, you will need to show strong influencing skills and have the ability to drive forward the development and implementation of internal processes.

An advanced knowledge of MS Excel will be advantageous, together with a self-motivated, diligent and organised approach to your workload.
