Our Client is a substantial British owned freight forwarding and logistics provider with a significant presence in retail, automotive, pharma and broader fmcg sectors. expertise across all freight modes and with an excellent reputation for quality and customer care, the business is experiencing strong growth both domestically and through its international offices. These new positions will help to consolidate their position as the natural first choice for a ‘one stop’ solution.

Reporting to the European Sales Director and with frequent daily interaction with operational and functional colleagues, the principle remit will focus upon new business acquisition within agreed sectors and to acceptable margin contribution. The appointee will lead the total process – from lead generation to final solution implementation, ensuring that a philosophy of “Customer First” is the norm. The job holder will present at Board level and have the presence and credibility to build effective partnerships.

Ideally of graduate calibre, your background will have encompassed a demonstrable record of success selling European road freight service. You will have received formal sales training and ideally will have held previous operational roles. We will be evaluating applicant’s ability to manage the total sales process – from lead generation to final implementation. Numeracy, literacy and current IT skills will be essential as will your ability to present at Board level in a credible and professional manner.
