Front Office Support Equities Flow

Docklands based Investment Bank seek a Front Office Application Support analyst for OTC Derivatives business for Equity Derivatives, Options and Fund linked products. You must have good UNIX / LINUX knowledge, Database experience – SQL, Sybase, Shell scripting (Perl, VB). Any knowledge of C ++, C #, VBA, PL SQL highly desirable

The role is for a team member of the Equity Derivatives IT support within the Flow Risk Management Support team – this team supports a number of risk management and trade capture systems for a global customer base across several functional areas. The primary function of the role will be to support the Flow Equity Derivatives Risk management platforms.

Duties include
• Environment Management of the QA, UAT and Production environments
• Provide day-to-day 'business' and ‘application’ support of equity derivatives risk management and P&L systems
• Dealing with and resolving complex application issues – reading and interpreting log files
• Dealing with and resolving complex PnL issues - application issues – reading and interpreting log files
• Resolution of production incidents in a timely fashion, through analyses and remediation procedures.
• Raising and resolving support tickets in the incident tracking tool in a timely manner to ensure all requests/ faults are captured and trending can occur on issues logged to reduce common problems. Raise change requests where necessary.
• Become familiar with End of Day batch jobs in order to quickly identify and resolved issues prior to start of day.
• Ensure application documentation is kept up to date
