Client Company
A flourishing independent Professional Services firm, dealing exclusively with advising the leading Financial Institutions in the UK. You will not only be working with FS experts on exciting and varied programmes, but also helping to shape and grow our client’s already highly reputable brand. We are keen to talk to high calibre candidates who have a deep knowledge and expertise in selling, shaping, managing and leading large programmes within the Investment Banking, Insurance and Retail Banking markets in particular. There are 2 levels of roles:
1) Principal Retail Banking and Principal Insurance Consultant – Key Responsibilities
· Actively seeking new opportunities to sell and shape new client engagements
· Lead the delivery of major change initiatives within either, leading Insurance or Retail Banking Institutions
· Seek ways internally and externally, to influence and grow the firm’s offering and brand within the marketplace
· Develop and manage existing client relationships
· Recruit, manage and lead consulting teams
Key Requirements
· Experience with both blue-chip Retail Banking or Insurance Institutions and Consulting firms
· Thorough knowledge of key UK market products, processes, systems and players, e.g. distribution/channel optimisation; customer strategy; outsourcing; cards; payments; operational efficiency improvement.
· Hold a wide network of key senior contacts to sell engagements to
· Experience of managing, developing and leading large teams
· Highly professional with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
2) Managing Consultant Retail Banking and Investment Banking - Key requirements
· Experience of managing several full lifecycle projects within both blue chip Retail or Investment Banking or Consulting firms
· Sound knowledge of key UK market products, processes, systems and players, e.g. distribution/channel optimisation; customer strategy; outsourcing; cards; payments; operational efficiency improvement.
· Experience of managing small teams
· Ability to help influence offerings and services
· Strong academic background
· Strong interpersonal skills
