Our Client is an international and substantial conglomerate primarily involved in the engineering and food sectors. With substantial funding and a commitment to growth and diversification, the Company has identified a niche in the waste management and recycling sectors and wishes to grow a new business. We need someone to run and build this new sector.
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will have a specific remit to research, develop and gain acceptance of an operational and business plan to create a substantial profitable business. You will be P&L accountable and will build a team of committed individuals, who will help in the growth of the business. A substantial part of the role will be within business development, networking and contact building, but above all you will manage both the daily and long term objectives. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual to build a business and share in the profits through effort, commitment and enthusiasm.
Already an accomplished operations manager within metals, WEEE, waste management and recycling, you will possess a range of business skills which will equip you to manage this challenge. You will have proven operational expertise, be passionate about safety and environment, be sales driven and possess excellent contacts within the private and public sector. Numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential as is your ability to grow businesses. This initial site may be part of a UK wide strategy and therefore career prospects are excellent.
