General Manager – Signalling & Telecoms
London - London
Our client is a European market leader in providing rail Infrastructure services. Their UK business offers a total solution to the Railway Infrastructure market from Urban Rail, High Speed Rail Services. The business is now in a position to appoint a General Manager for the Signalling and Telecoms Projects division.
The Role
We are looking for an individual who will be in charge of Signalling & Telecoms function that is able to provide the Project Division with high quality resources to meet current and future project requirements.
Key accountabilities
· Manage divisional cost against budgets
· Recruit, organize, manage & Develop a first class Signalling & Telecoms team
· Allocate resources to projects, tendering or external work to deliver required skills and keep the team utilistaion on or above target.
· Deliver work within agreed timelines, according to the agreed quality and in line with all safety rules & principles.
Experience
Ideally you will be a licensed IRSE member along with being a chartered engineer or working towards this. We are looking for someone who has experience of managing a business function and leads by example whilst motivating a team. The successful candidate will have previous experience of Signalling & Telecoms construction and testing activities and will have a thorough knowledge of Network Rails standards.
