Up to €80,000 base (Highly Negotiable) + bonus + equity
My client is a privately owned UK company that provides highly differentiated services to the IT industry. They have grown rapidly and profitably and now wish to identify an entrepreneurial individual to build their business in Germany.
They are willing to consider entrepreneurial candidates on a salaried basis but would have a strong preference for an individual who may be interested in investing in the business in return for a significant equity stake.
The company has a strong brand and a proven template for the successful running of the business. They have a proven model for generating business via the Web and telesales activities and many business support services can be provided from the UK enabling you to focus on establishing an efficient and profitable business.
There will be full support and training to maximise the opportunity for success.
Responsibilities:
To establish lead and manage a country subsidiary selling and delivering high quality services to the German market.
• Establish a German operation based on the highly successful UK business.
• Lead the definition of the marketing strategy.
• Build a high energy telesales operation capable of hitting aggressive sales targets.
• Identify, acquire and manage office facilities.
• Hire great people.
• Operational management of service delivery.
• Lead the German organisation to meet quarterly revenue and profit goals.
• Manage local relationships with strategic partners.
• Develop a plan and report to the UK Management Board on progress each quarter.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to generate high levels of earnings based on a successful growth plan.
Skills and Experience:
• Must be currently living and working in Germany and speak both fluent German and English.
• Entrepreneur with experience of leading and managing an IT business with a focus on high volume and direct sales.
• Strong sales and marketing background with emphasis on Telesales.
• Operational and financial management experience, including prior responsibility for a P&L.
The successful candidate will be paid a fixed salary plus a variable component linked to quarterly revenues and margin. In addition there will be a generous annual profit share scheme. There is flexibility to negotiate a salary/equity package to match a candidate’s appetite for risk/reward.
You must be resident in Germany able to speak fluent German and be an EU National or have a current Work Permit.
