Global Capital Controller, Global Crop Science Gro

Our client is a high technology cropsience company with annual revenues close to $10 billion. The company has completed a significant number of acquisitions and has demonstrated considerable organic growth, driven in part by the need to increase crop yields in the face of high food prices and the emergence of biofuels. The company is well positioned to deliver sustainable growth.

We are keen to identify a Controller to report to the division CFO, setting up a global process to enhance the capital planning for the highest growth division and also manage some of the larger capital project appraisals.

The company plans to invest a huge sum over the next five years and this individual will play a lead role in setting up a capital investment management program, ensuring all investments are prioritised / optimised to support capacity and new infrastructure as the division continues its high growth. The position will involve working closely with top level management of the countries and regions, ensuring the process is embedded.
This is an entry point to the business and within 18 – 24 months a high achiever will move into another assignment, possibly country CFO or global BU Controller.

We are seeking a finance professional who has a mix of experience, including line finance (FP&A or Finance Manager) and some kind of financial evaluation experience. You will have a good academic background and have demonstrated career progression in a large, multinational business.
