Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Our client is a World leading designer and manufacturer in their field. They are now looking to recruit a Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
The Role - Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager required to manage the global forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes, and to provide value added support in the day-to-day running of the business as it continues to grow in size and complexity.
Responsibilities / Duties
• Provide management support to the regular forecasting, annual budgeting and bi-annual strategic planning processes; consolidate results, undertake business reviews with key business stakeholders, and prepare/present the final reporting pack.
• Projects manage the further development and implementation of new business planning and other financial analysis tolls. The current platform is SAP – BW – BPC having recently migrated from Essbase.
• Drive centralization of key analytical activity to prove high quality information and deliver finance efficiencies across the business.
• Undertake analytical reviews of the key business processes and activities, and identify where efficiencies can be made.
• Prepare weekly/monthly management reports, Board presentations and shareholder reviews.
• Provide analysis and support on any ad hoc issues arising in the business.
• Business partner the Group enabling functions of Finance, HR, IT and Legal.
Working Relationships:
• Reporting into the Business Finance Director
• Close working relationship with the Group Controllers Function.
• Significant interaction with senior business stakeholders and other finance teams around the world.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Qualified CIMA/ACA with extensive PQE working in a commercial environment.
• Previous Budgeting and Forecasting experience
• Must have experience of using SAP / BW
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Business facing experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills and Attributes:
• Ambitious, hands on, commercially oriented accountant with a proven track record in an international organization.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small central team and influence the wider organization.
• Ability to communicate with financial/non-financial senior management in a self-confident and professional manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an international environment and to champion and lead process change within and beyond the finance function.
• Ability to work with timeliness and accurately in a fast moving environment with the judgment to make compromises where necessary.
• Commercial acumen to identify and prioritize the key business issues and the confidence to bring solutions and engage in change management.
• Ability to Business Partner the Group enabling functions with appropriate analytical support.
