Global Strategic Sourcing Coach
My Client is a global oil and gas organisation, developing means to extract and process oil and gas and then consistently producing and transporting it to the market marketplace. They currently have a requirement for a permanent Global Strategic Sourcing Coach. As the Global Strategic Sourcing Coach your role will be to implement standard processes related to market sector strategy and strategic sourcing. You will also provide subject matter expertise, training and coaching, and drive continuous improvement of the common processes for global supply chain management. Monitoring common processes for efficiency and effectiveness and adjustment accordingly
As part of the Common Process team, the Coach will network extensively to develop credibility with key users and stakeholders of the end-to-end processes, leading and influencing the uptake of the process to achieve optimal business results. This role requires a high calibre individual with proven experience and the ability to deliver results.
Essential for this position
· Significant relevant purchasing and supply chain and commercial experience
· Skillful application of market sector strategy (market strategy, commodity strategy, or sourcing strategy)
· Skillful application of strategic sourcing
· Experience of applying supply chain risk management, process & quality improvement and coaching
· Experience delivering training within a supply chain function
· Excellent communication skills, with a positive "can do" attitude
· Able to travel up to 50% of the time
· University degree (Three or four-year Bachelor's degree)
· Demonstrate skilful application of identifying and embracing critical project tasks
· Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, being a facilitator, willing to be exposed to, and working with, individuals at all levels
