Global Strategy Manager, Leisure Group

Based in Middlesex, this foremost international leisure group is connected with many of leading brands in its sector. Strongly positioned for further growth, particularly in emerging markets, the group now wish to add a strong junior Strategy Manager to their Global function.

Your responsibilities will centre on providing strategic planning and guidance to the various functions and regions within the group, including working with regional strategy heads and managing external Consultants. You will report to the Senior VP Global Strategy and work closely with this person on global initiatives and ad hoc projects. In addition you will closely follow competitor and market trends, manage relationships with research vendors and assist on any corporate activity including M&A. You will have demonstrated an ability to assess and understand internal and external economic and financial issues, a proven ability to analyse markets, performance data, and business issues and draw insight/conclusions, and the ability to build global working relationships.

Skills in financial modelling will be required as well as the ability to work on project driven assignments, both autonomously and as part of a team. Travel may be required in the role, depending on where various projects are based, although this may be discretionary. For best success in the role you may be coming from a background in Consulting or from corporate strategy in a blue chip environment.
