Governance Manager / Executive Assistant

Our client is a large London based bank currently going through a raft of major finance change programmes.

The Financial Director for all the Group Change Programmes is looking for a Governance Manager / Executive Assistant to work with him on various ad hoc finance activities including managing and ensuring adherence to the Programme Governance. This role will involve a great deal of liaison with senior stakeholders across the business ensuring the governance.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager / Change Manager to work at the heart of this programme and get involved in an array of activities including business partnering, governance / risk management, process improvement, and senior stakeholder management.

You must be a qualified accountant with extensive statutory and management accounting experience with good exposure to project governance and project finance. You will also have excellent change management experience, must be adept at liaising with senior stakeholders (FD, MD, CFO, CIO, etc) and must be from financial services. You will also preferably have experience of both group and business unit level finance.
