Group Business Development Manager

Rate: £50K to £55K (Permanent) + Plus benefits
You have a thorough understanding of the oil and gas business gained with an operator or an EPC contractor, and an in-depth knowledge of the EPC business, including product and service procurement. You also have a working knowledge of contracts used to procure products and services in the oil and gas sector, including bonding, liquidated damages and other key terms. A good communicator and relationship builder, you are able to gain the respect of clients and manage a team of proposals and sales engineers. In this role, you will manage the Group’s business development, including all pre-award activities. This will embrace the marketing strategy, identifying key markets and clients, developing prospect lists and managing the proposals process. You will maintain relationships with key clients and partners; ensure the company has sufficient proposal capacity for its business development objectives; be an active part of the senior management team; and support in the CEO and work with other senior managers to deliver business objectives. You will also manage all marketing activities.
