An opportunity to join this exciting business is now available for an operational and commercially focused Financial Director. This integral position will be responsible for the finance function and the ownership and responsibility of the company's day to day operational requirements.
This role will suit a qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) commercial individual who has gained commercial accounting experience including cash flow management, credit control, stock control, experience within the foreign exchange process as well as banking and reconciliation. Management accounting experience is also required to high level, including budgeting and forecasting. Experience of setting up new accounting processes and procedures will also be an advantage.
As well as the finance element of the role, you will also be required to provide assistance in non finance areas of the operation. This includes business development, company insurers and documenting contractual relationships. The daily operations will also fall into the remit of the Financial Director, including H.R, I.T and procurement responsibilities.
This is an all encompassing Senior Finance role that requires a hands on individual with the ability to contribute from the start. This position will suit an individual from an FMCG or manufacturing environment seeking a lead finance and operational role within a fast paced environment. Due to the level and number of non finance focuses, strong communication skills as well as solid IT skills are essential.
