Group Financial Controller

This well established and award winning Group provides specialist environmental civil engineering services to a range of prominent clients, which includes prestigious contracts for the 2012 Olympics.
Driven by the challenge of continuous improvement, an exciting opportunity now exists for an ambitious individual to join as Group Financial Controller. You will critically evaluate all current procedures and practices with recommendations for process improvement, enhanced management reporting, and the accurate and timely financial reporting of the Group’s operating subsidiaries. Furthermore you will actively contribute in meeting the Group’s financial accounting and reporting requirements including statutory reporting and production of management accounts. The Group’s reputation has been built upon strong values and it operates the highest level of quality in all activities for the benefit of both its customers and the environment. All applicants will need to demonstrate the traits of integrity and reliability to ensure these values are maintained.
You will be fully qualified, and ideally have experience of working in the construction or civil engineering industry. You will be a strong communicator with a naturally inquisitive and questioning mind and be confident in dealing with senior managers.
