Group Head of Procurement

Group Head of Procurement - this is a new role and will offer an exceptional opportunity to work as part of the Executive of this highly successful organisation, on an International basis. This challenge is to achieve a reduction in cost base for Telco services- largely access/network on a pan European basis. With a history of continued international growth, my client is making this management appointment to add strength to the commercial team. You will establish a department and will bring resource together to create a significant impact.We are interested in hearing from candidates who have the following skills:

Excellent negotiation skills - able to demonstrate where you have reduced costs and achieved efficiencies in service
Experience for working on a pan European basis
Minimum degree or equivalent within economics, supplier or procurement management
A high level of personal energy and motivation- ability to inspire others and lead
Strong communication skills
Confidence to operate at C level
