About the Client
Our client is an international property consultancy looking for a Group PR Manager to lead the strategic development and implementation of PR activities internationally.
About the Role
The Group PR Manager will develop and be responsible for all PR activity across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the development and implementation of strategic corporate communications and plans in collaboration with the Board, co-ordinating communication plans in-line with location, brand and desired market position
Devise and implement all media relations strategies including the identification of key media and development of messaging, to raise the firm's profile internationally
Act as a focal point for all media relationships both regionally, nationally and internationally, establishing corporate relationships with all print, broadcast and online media
Proactively identify thought leadership issues Partners can comment on
Assume the lead position for crisis communications
Provide expert advice to senior management to ensure they are well prepared to deal with the media
Line manage the Senior PR Executive
What We’re Looking For
You will have proven experience as a senior PR Manager gained in a professional services or B2B environment, either in-house or agency side.
You will have a thorough understanding of the principles of effective external communication, mass media, publicity and CSR as well as experience in delivering communications & PR strategy internationally.
You will be experienced in developing PR strategy through both traditional and non-traditional media, new media expertise being an advantage.
This is a 'hands-on' role so excellent influencing and networking skills are needed in order to develop relationships with key journalists. In addition, experience of managing external PR agencies in both the UK and internationally is required.
You will be an excellent writer. Man management experience, the ability to coach, lead and influence are required.
