Group Reporting Manager

Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Group Reporting Manager on behalf of a large global organisation based in Farnborough; this is an exciting role for the right individual, you will be a proactive and confident self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills. A strong team player who will be able to manage and motivate a team , have experience of consolidations have up to date knowledge and experience of IFRS AND UK GAAP which are pre-requisites of the role. Experience of Hyperion Financial Management would be an advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation of the Group s interim and final published statutory accounts, including development of the Annual Report disclosures and liaison with the Group s external auditors.
Manage the preparation of the Group s monthly consolidated management accounts, including preparation and review of financial information and business group commentaries for inclusion in the monthly Executive Committee Report and Board Report.
Ensure compliance with the latest developments in IFRS, UK GAAP and company law, and provide technical accounting guidance to the business groups in respect of new accounting standards and ad hoc developments.
Maintain a focus on strong internal controls and further develop the Group Reporting department s processes to ensure consistent compliance with best practice.
Manage and develop a team of six qualified accountants.
