Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Group Treasury & Reporting Accountant for a services group in Hook which operates a variety of contracts across the world.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, you will work as part of the group reporting team and have significant interaction with the Treasury team. You will have overall responsibility for Treasury accounting and reporting and providing divisions with technical advice, particularly with regard to the application of IAS 39, IAS 23 and disclosures under IFRS 7. You will also be working on Group consolidations; analysis of results; monthly and quarterly valuation of derivatives and monitoring and managing group hedge effectiveness; also involvement with the annual and half yearly report. The ability to work on ad hoc projects e.g. acquisitions, disposals is required.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be a graduate qualified (ACA/ACCA) accountant with experience of financial reporting in a large listed group environment or experience of auditing a listed group from a role in practice. Technical and intellectual strength with good analytical and problem solving skills. A good understanding of Treasury is an advantage. There will be excellent opportunities for career progression within the group for the right candidate.
