expand have been engaged on a Brand new role - GSM/ Mobile Database Manager, created to review and maintain a robust and resilient Mobile and GSM Network.

You will be joining a significant business who have enjoyed significant growth over the last year, to build upon this success they recognise the need to implement measures which document and capture the locations of their GSM Base station networks. You will be responsible for driving the development of the Database including requirements gathering; process change, improvements and optimisation, and ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and involved at appropriate levels. Additionally you will liaise with key roaming partners on a daily basis to maintain network reliability outside usual coverage areas.

This will involve working closely with key stakeholders from top to bottom of this global blue-chip and influencing at all levels to bring about change.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of inventory database management from a Mobile operator background (ideally).

- Suitable candidates will be ideally from a GSM and IT background

- Administrative level in Microsoft W2K, Oracle, Unix, , SQL , Data , GSM, VOIP and IP technologies.

- Ideal candidates will be from a background with a mobile network operator and had exposure to the creation and management of databases

- Demonstrable experience of database design and management

- Reporting and recommendation analysis will be required as essential skills.
