Lets not beat about the bush – this is a sales role, and, whilst the title may be Head of Business Development, the message is simple – to sell across all temperature regimes in an highly competitive, margin sensitive environment. The good news is that the Client is highly respected, profitable and growing - both through acquisition and organically. Equally, their service levels, customer care and innovation, make this both a challenging, but deeply interesting role.

Reporting to the Development Director, you will have a full and unencumbered remit to sell across the temperature regimes to customers in manufacturing and retail. You will ensure that all presentations and discussions are to the highest, professional and ethical standards and you will maintain close contact with operational colleagues throughout the process, up to steady state levels. In addition, you will seek new business from existing key accounts developing relationships at Board level.

Already an accomplished Business Development Manager, within 3PL, you will be able to demonstrate excellent consistent sales results and business relationships and have the capability to grow into more senior positions. Certainly of graduate calibre, your earlier career may have been within warehouse operations, thereby adding to your credibility.
