With a total team of around 50 staff, our Client (a public-private partnership) has the objective of being the number one provider of business advice to the 675 000 companies operating in London.
Since January 2007 our Client has undergone significant change, and the time is now right for the appointment of a dedicated head of diversity and equality. Quite simply, this role is all about making sure that business opportunity in London is open to everyone.
The role reports directly to the CEO and will have a project person reporting in. The remit will cover the entire D and E agenda both internally and externally. This includes (but is not restricted to):
Ensuring all D and E requirements are met and that relevant stakeholder perceptions and expectations are effectively managed.
Production of all relevant policies, action plans and impact assessments.
Ensuring that policy objectives become tangible, actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
Key relationships within this role include all hard to reach groups and communities, the Chief Executive, the London Development Agency and all internal employees.
