My client is part of a global organisation and is a key player within its category. Within the UK, they enjoy a significant market share driven by their innovative products. Outside of the UK, the International Markets business unit is at the forefront of the growth agenda. They are a business that thrives on innovations and offer employees the opportunity to develop their ideas. An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced European Sales Manager to join this organisation at an exciting time in its development.

As European sales manager your responsibilities will include:

Full P&L responsibility across designated markets and countries
Volume, profit, market share & working capital management
Delivery of annual business plans for each market
To manage and develop distributor performance in all areas
To identify and develop direct retail sector opportunities across Europe
To develop the European sales team
NPD involvement and product launch
The ideal candidate will be experienced within European sales management in an FMCG environment. Experience in managing direct retail accounts as well as distributor is essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate a sales team. Fluency in a second European language would be beneficial. Candidates must be open to significant travel within this role
