An outstanding opportunity has arisen within this inspirational establishment. The NEA are seeking a proactive Head of Finance to lead the growth of this multi-site establishment. Leading a brand new team, the position of Head of Finance has full fiscal responsibility. A commercial Head is required to set annual budgets, monitor income & expenditure and write management reports. As a senior Head of the establishment, all commercials and reports will be through this role. Responsibilities will include financial appraisals for new projects, contracts and developments, in addition to preparing statutory reports and financial statements for all stakeholders

The successful individual will be a CCAB qualified accountant with financial management experience in the educational sector (preferably FE). You will be able to demonstrate involvement in managing and reporting public funds as well as a knowledge and understanding of the education agenda as a whole. The ability to think commercially and conduct senior relationships is required.
