I have an exciting opportunity to join an International Charitable organisation.
This role will require you to hold a full Accounting Qualification ideally ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
You will have international experience.
You will already be deemed a strong business partner.
You will be able to build strong business relationships.
You will have proven strategic & operational experience.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be required to support the global finance community to ensure good financial management throughout the organisation by setting standards and providing guidance, tools and training materials and by overseeing compliance and by sharing best practice. Managing the team of Finance Coordinators and Analysts that support the Country Teams and other Directorates, including Fund raising & Communications, Programmes and Organisational Effectiveness in delivery and monitoring of compliance against global standards, systems and processes as well as capacity building.
A strategic approach is required, delegating where appropriate, to review and develop financial systems enabling implementation and maintenance of global policies, processes and standards. A 'value for money' approach is consistent throughout the organisation utilising all available resources. A large part of your responsibility with be to support the global finance community, including places such as Hong Kong and Brazil, therefore your flexibility to travel for up to 10 weeks per year will be appreciated.
You will hold a Professional Accounting qualification and have experience of working in the Charity sector, preferably but not essentially in the NGO sector. Being a people focused and driven individual, you will take ownership of this role and motivate those around you offering support and training where required.
