Head of Health & Saftey Assurance

The client is a consortium of major construction companies tasked with the programme management, construction management and construction delivery on this prestigious multi million pound project in London.

Key areas of responsibility requires the monitoring of external developments and legislative requirements and communicate these into the delivery partner H&S policy for continued compliance and industry leadership whilst developing and promoting the HSE management system.

This will require you to work with peers and other disciplines to create a coherent, integrated policies and systems that avoid the unnecessary duplication of HSE procedures.

You will also need to work through the works programme and set the strategic targets for the HSE assurance audit programmes, monitor HSE reporting arrangements, data and identify trends and early warnings of possible issues and recommend appropriate action.

To be successful in this role, the client will need to be an experienced H&S professional and have the capability to implementing H&S strategies through out a large company operating at board level with a passion for H&S.
