Head of Marketing

Our client is seeking a Head of Marketing to help develop their future plans for growth and development. Marketing and product innovation are at the heart of their success and central and they are not complacent with it. They require a dynamic Head of Marketing to help deliver their exciting business strategy. The successful candidate must quickly understand the direction of the business, working with the commercial and technical teams to appraise and develop strategies for key markets, channels, customers, ranges and individual products.
Job Description:
Full accountability for strategic marketing plans and activities. Managing a mix of internal and external resource, you will ensure our sales effort to new and existing customers is provided with significant impetus.
Candidate Requirements:
Candidates for this role must be able to demonstrate an impressive record of success with proven leadership experience working at a similar level for at least 3 years, preferably in the same industry (windows & Roofing/Conservatory) or the wider construction industry. Exceptional candidates from other industries will be considered.
You will develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products while providing support and direction to enable achievement of broad business objectives.
The ability to credibly negotiate, persuade and resolve issues at every level in the organisation is essential with an unquestionable flair for defining and implementing your vision. You must be a proactive implementer who can think creatively. Willing to work to targets and strict deadlines, you will be able to point to previous success in operating in a highly pressured environment.
Based at their Head Office in North Nottinghamshire, this role will require national travel.
