Head of Project Planning / Project Controls Manager package to £65,000 plus
Based: South Wales
The Head of Project Planning / Project Controls Manager will manage a team delivering Project Planning, coordination, performance measures and Risk Management at both Project / Planning and Business Unit Level, developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure best practice methodologies and reporting metrics across the organisation.
Our blue chip client is part of a major international corporation and is a well established and reputable supplier to the UK and international governments and large FTSE 100 companies.
The successful Head of Project Planning / Project Controls Manager will possess a degree, HND or similar qualification in an engineering or related discipline and significant management experience working with multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires a good understanding of project management processes including PCP, PEP, LCM, IPDP, QMS, Risk Management etc together with engineering product development, manufacturing lifecycle and supporting tools.
The Head of Project Planning / Project Controls Manager will be a strong team leader, a good communicator and will possess excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills. The role demands a solid understanding of resource management needs, bid support, process development, knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and project control at all levels.
