Our client is a small London-based design, publishing, trend and colour forecasting consultancy that provides custom made colour and trend development for some of the world's leading companies. Their diverse international clients operate within a wide range of industries from automotive to fashion and from decorative to telecommunications. And with projects in the USA, Latin America, Europe and the Far East, they are truly a global business.
We are now seeking to recruit a highly accomplished individual to help take the company forward to the next stage of its development. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have primary responsibility for growing sales with a focus in the first instance on their consultancy division. This will involve capitalizing on their unique position, winning new business and managing resources to the agreed budget targets as well as, in time, researching, identifying and targeting new market sectors and customers in line with agreed business strategy and plans
This is very much a results-driven role, calling for the ability not only to manage relationships, but also to sell new ideas at senior levels and to achieve specific business targets. As such, you should be extremely commercially orientated, with a track record of at least 5–10 years in sales/business development within the creative, marketing, publishing, consulting or print & design industries. We would also welcome applications from the automotive, fashion, decorative, paint or telecommunications industries. Global travel is envisaged and international experience would therefore be useful.
