Head of Service Delivery

Role Purpose:
The Head of Service Delivery is responsible for all aspects of the IT service delivered to: Operations, Asset Management & Major Projects.

Key Accountabilities
•Ensures successful delivery of operational IS services
•Ensures ongoing reviews of support for critical business applications/areas
•Ensures successful delivery of change portfolio
•Ensures effective performance metrics reported regularly to customers
•Acts of point of escalation for all relevant operational and project issues
•Monitors key stakeholder satisfaction
•Works with the business and the business applications architect to ensure development of the applications strategy
•Ensures effective management of cost (capex and opex) in line with business priorities and IS budget

Skills / Competencies / Experience Required
•Bachelors degree or equivalent
•Experience at manager level within large IS/IT organisation
•Experienced in customer relationship management and stakeholder management techniques
•Project management experience at large scale
•Excellent customer-focus
•Strong commercial acumen
•Business domain knowledge (CRM and billing, back office or work & asset management)
•Business consulting experience
•Able to sell ideas to senior stakeholders
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong conceptual thinker
•Good abstract reasoning
