The company was transformed into its current UK business many years ago by the merger between two highly successful but complimentary businesses. The synergy that the merger delivered allowed the new operation to develop new products as well as to win increased market share through combining the resources and expertise of both organisations.
Today it is part of a European Group that has successfully established sales operations in 40 countries and is a key player in selling highly technical products to the medical, oil & gas sectors as well as to a number of public sector organisations around the world.
The UK is an integral part of the group and is determined to deliver improved performance to over the next three years. As part of this process the senior management team has identified the need to recruit this new position that will be the driving force in transforming the way that the current service & training department operates. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be supporting the domestic sales teams, the client training department as well as developing key client relationships to establish new product and service offerings. The Head of Service has the opportunity to build upon the group heritage and to run the service department on a day-to-day basis creating a dynamic, growing and profitable service business.
The successful candidate will demonstrable expertise in managing and growing a field engineering service department in a technical products and systems B2B environment as well as having shown clear leadership to the team and the management board.
