Head of Software Development

London based global organisation seek an experienced Software Development Manager for an immediate start.
This is a strategic role and so would require someone wth C- level stakeholder management experience.
THE ROLE
Working within the IT team and take responsibility of the development team (1 systems analyst, 1 developer and 1 junior project manager).
Responsible for the implementing software architecture projects in accordance to company standards
Coordinate the different stakeholders of the projects in IT department, in the business lines, and the external providers.
Write all documentation required to follow the project : functional, technical specifications, system architecture, component design, test cases, UAT OAT reports …
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
- Educated to degree level : Computer science
EXPERIENCE:
Essential
• Minimum 10 years experience in software development, architecture, and project management
- SQL development
- Oracle forms development
- DBA knowledge (SQL and Oracle)
- Java and Web technology including SOA …
- Internet security
- System and network knowledge including Microsoft Windows administration…
Desireable
- French speaker
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Insure that the development projects are delivered within agreed planning an budget
• Propose the architecture to implement, define the detail timescale for each project, follow the tasks with the different stakeholders, organise project meetings with the internal clients,
• Liaising with global IT team based in France to make sure that the projects deployed are compliant with the group requirements
• Managing, motivate and develop the skills of the development team
