A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial candidate to manage the sales operation for our client’s conference sponsorship team in the retail sector.
The conference business delivers well researched programmes, attracting highly targeted and valuable delegates, backed by significant media brands. Sponsorship revenue has seen consistent growth and offers further potential under specific, specialist and cooperative management.
As a high growth business with an ambitious strategy, our client is looking for someone who will drive sponsorship revenues as a key member of the senior team. This is an established position and is tasked with developing the sponsorship growth strategy in line with the wider business plan, creating real value for customers, and leading the sponsorship sales teams to exceptional performance.
Reporting to the Conferences Commercial Director, the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
• A proven track record in managing sales operations, with evidence of delivering significant year on year growth in competitive markets.
• Experience of developing great customer relationships, high value sponsorship packages, and delivering real value to customers.
• A collaborative approach, understanding a brand culture aligning the sales strategy with the overall business strategy.
• A strong sales leader, inspiring teams to high performance and influencing the wider business.
