Head of Strategy

This is a major life insurance company. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the role involves formulation and development of a clear and robust business strategy and, working in conjunction with the business, providing the appropriate frameworks, stimulus and process to achieve it.
There will also be an interface with the group strategy team to ensure that the relationship, ways of working and strategy content are fully aligned. A team of strategy managers and consultants will report in to the role.
Candidates will have worked at senior level in strategy development in a complex organization and/or have lead significant strategy consulting engagements in the insurance market or retail banking. This might have been either in a corporate environment or with a strategy consulting firm or the strategy side of a mainstream/ big 4 consulting firm. Candidates will also have a good degree and ideally a second degree/ MBA.
