Leading UK retailer in a continued period of growth is searching for a Head of Supply Chain responsible for Merchandise Planning and Reverse logistics. The business has a phenomenal record of success and has invested heavily in multi channel offer, store formats and product.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Setting the strategic direction and lead the Supply Chain team to maximise availability and stock.
- Major activity planning and implementation (peak / sale / launches)·
- Reviewing and driving, programme implementation, improved supplier performance through collaboration.
- Review and measure reasons for returns, and drive improvement through influencing business activity to minimise them.
- Identifying, establish and manage the most commercially sound disposition routes for all returns and obsolete stock.
- Management responsibilities of people development and ensure the right culture is created to maximise team engagement and deliver results.
- Becoming a key member of the cross-functional Trading and Supply Chain leadership team.

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong supply chain background gained from a major retailer / FTSE 100 organisation, having been responsible for merchandise planning and returns. Your track record will have demonstrated good leadership skills, continuous progression and accountability with excellent results.
