The Role
Head of International Supply Chain & Logistics in a Retail environment
A senior management position with International responsibility for the development and knowledge exchange of best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical support
- Support the Development of new Distribution Centres
- Support the work programme of Warehousing, Retail Technology and Transport.
- Monitor developments and identifying and supporting the implementation of best international practice.
- Supporting the implementation of best practice supply chain operations
- Researching developments in all aspects of supply chain and reporting on these developments
- Maintaining contact with countries and leading suppliers in the regions including MENA, ASIA and Europe
- Responsible for the tracking of developments in retail technology, including multi-channel retailing
The Person
- Experience of Supply Chain Management in a similar role at a senior position
- Able to demonstrate the capability to work in different countries with an open approach to every culture.
- The position will involve extensive international travel.
