Have you got travel advertising experience and would like to join a renowned media group?



Our client is a blue-chip company and one of the UK’s leading media groups. They are the market leader for travel in the quality media market and travel advertising is one of the most important revenue streams across the business.

They currently require an individual to assume complete responsibility for all travel advertising across the group. This is a high profile role within the advertising senior management and will require working with all areas of the business including newspapers, magazines, digital, CRM and TV.



The Individual



You must be a clear strategic thinker who is an expert at writing compelling strategic Business Plans that are supported by strong logic and a clear ROI. You will have managed P&Ls and run business units/complex teams.



To truly succeed in this role you will need to work with project management teams to develop innovative, differentiated propositions and products that will stand out in the market place. You will be responsible for setting and driving strategy.



The successful candidate will be a proven people manager who has managed large teams before. You will have demonstrated you can grow the talent of your business unit by coaching and developing your team. The role demands someone who can clearly articulate the vision for travel advertising and then provide motivational leadership to deliver results.



You will possess excellent sales skills, be able to develop and nurture relationships with senior clients and ideally have deep knowledge of the travel industry.



You will be able to demonstrate:

• A natural passion for successfully leading and developing large teams
