Hedge Fund Operational Due Diligence Analyst

I currently have an active requirement for an individual with a solid and consistent track record across both sell-side and more recently buy-side frameworks within Due Diligence for a role with a well established and stable Asset Management Group operating Hedge Fund portfolios for their clients.

Your core role will be to assist the Portfolio and Group heads in undergoing operational due diligence on marketable alternative (Hedge Fund) investment managers covering areas such as operational and risk reviews and portfolio/manager selection.

Suitable applicants will have a solid track record on the sell-side within fund accounting, securities or risk management (for buy-side portfolios) or possibly within an audit and risk environment (working in a division that covers hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity or venture capital) and have made the transition to a hedge fund environment over the last 2-5 years within a related role.

Such applicants will demonstrate a high calibre approach to investment vehicles for the hedge fund sector covering a diverse range of financial products and derivatives as well as the confidence to communicate with multiple and relevant groups (institutional investors, auditors etc).
