HFM Specialist
City of London - London
London based opportunity for a HFM Specialist to join one of the largest companies in South Africa, with assets of £27.1 billion (2006) at their London HQ.
The successful applicants overall responsibility will be to assist in the implementation, maintenance and expansion of the application portfolio and to support solutions using the Hyperion HFM and Planning applications, inclusive of Hyperion BPM solutions.
As a specialist in implementing Hyperion tools in the finance arena from a functional and technical perspective your key responsibilities will be:
- To assist in the development and maintenance of the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Planning Solution.
- To participate in all phases of applications development, performing such activities as analysis and design, programming, hardware and software evaluations and user interactions.
- To discuss and workshop client requirements on site, liaise with the various business units and offer effective reporting solutions, which are integral to the successful completion of the various projects undertaken.
- Responsible for the implementation and management of an effective end user support infrastructure which includes training and facilitation, help desk support and assistance during financial reporting periods.
- Undertake testing and quality control of the HFM and Planning solutions.
- An essential aspect of the work is the development and testing of updates and reports.
- Responsible for management of projects and ensuring that all deadlines are met from a technical perspective as well as from the business unit perspective.
Specific knowledge and skills:
This position requires significant (i.e. 3 years or an equivalent level of experience) functional and technical experience working with:
