My portfolio of clients consist of successful trading desks that have built both the infrastructure and reputation around succeeding in volatile markets. This client is no exception and are currently seeking to expand their Proprietary Trading desk with an individual who has built a solid track record of success within intra-day high frequency trading.
You will be joining a black-box environment and demonstrate both consistent PnL performance (including sharpe ratios reflecting intra-day methods) and a solid blend of quantitative and computational capability to run your own strategies as well as the potential to contribute towards overall team performance.
Product expertise is of less importance across electronic traded markets (equities, FX, commodities) although coverage of European and/or Asian markets is a plus. The ability to demonstrate (and prove) that your trading results and strategies are the result of your own market acumen (rather than the bank or fund’s infrastructure).
